Head Protection

Accidents that cause head injuries are difficult to anticipate or control. Head injury risks include falling objects, overhead hazards, and electrical shock. Hard hats are typically the most common form of hard protection, but other options exist such as bump caps. Always be sure you are wearing the appropriate hat for the hazard. Not all hard hats are non-conductive and bump caps are not appropriate for falling hazards.
